Problem

You  receive the following error: "divxsm has stopped working"

Solution

go to your folder "C:\Program Files\Common Files\DivX Shared\"
and copy "qt-dx331.dll" into your divx installation folder:
"C:\Program Files\DivX\DivX Codec\".

This fixes the problem.
